The manhole GRP ladder or manhole steps are located inside the manhole room, the sanitary room, the prison room, the sewage room, or any other room. GRP steps can be installed inside the manhole wall in two ways, either equally or alternately along the length of the room.
Manhole ladder steps are utilized to reach confined spaces from the top or bottom through manholes, The distance between each step must not exceed 35 cm. It is used to facilitate the descent and ascent of workers and technicians for maintenance and installation purposes inside the room.
The manhole steps are manufactured according to the standard specifications. The sewer access ladder is a composite made of polyester and fiberglass intended for BMC products. Other materials are added to enhance uniformity and resist shrinkage, corrosion, and sharpening. It also gives the product the required rigidity as it is precisely engineered to withstand high loads.
BMC products do not contain iron at all, and the high strength and high tensile properties provided by iron are compensated for by fiberglass, which has proven to be highly efficient and sometimes superior to the properties of iron.
The product is theft-proof because it is not recycled, which makes it better than cast iron, which can be stolen and reused, and the weight of one ladder reaches 2.5 kilograms for a size of 15*30.
The GRP-matched staircase is available in several colors according to the customer’s preferences and project requirements, with the possibility of changing the general shape according to the site design. It is also characterized by superior resistance to chemicals as it withstands the conditions of all environments strongly thanks to its high resistance to wear, tear, breakage, and impact.
